It was my turn on the bikes today.
The bikes live in the junior playground shed.
I went on the two seater bike with Jack P. We took turns to sit at the front and cycled around the playground.
My other friends in Rabbits went on scotters and other bikes. While we were on the bikes, Squirrels played. Next time it will their turn on the bikes and we will play.
A little time ago Mrs Etherington told us that we couldn't have milk because someone stole it and today we hunted around the playground for clues as to who it may have been.
Me and my friends are going to find out who stole the milk. We are going to stay up at bedtime, go to Kingslea and try and catch the milk snatchers.

When I was your age we always got milk in little bottles at school. They were like real milk bottles but much smaller. Then one day it disappeared and we never got it again. It turned out it was taken my this mean woman called Margaret Thatcher. She took all of the children's milk. She was known from this point on as "Thatcher, Thatcher Milk Snatcher" although she also did some other mean stuff and was called other names too.
I suggest you try at her house first. I bet she has it.
That is funny.
I don't think Margaret Thatcher has it though because she doesn't live near my school and is very old.
Mum said her friend Mr (Lord) Tebbit lives near here though .... was he ever involved in your missing milk scandel?
But, Zevon, Margaret Thatcher is very old and bonkers. Maybe she snuck out of bed in the middle of the night and ran down the street in her night dress. Maybe then she got lost and walked around and around until she ended up at your school. She saw the milk and it reminded her of her "glory" days and said to herself "I'm 'avin' that". Maybe.
