In fact we only went home for the night, woke up early the next day and drove to Derbyshire to stay a bunch of friends from Mum & Dad's university. Simon is SO grown up...

Three Countries.
Today we went to Toulouse for lunch. Then dad decided to drive to Andorra (a funny little country at the top of Spain) just to get our passports stamped. Cosmic bought the worlds biggest pot of Nutella and after dinner, mum thought it would be really funny if we drove home via Spain.

Rocamadour
We started at the caves to see the cave art. Sadly we werent allowed to take photos (to stop them fading) but here's one from the internet.
This place was amazing. Rocamadour is a town built into a mountain. The top of it is made up of a number of joined-up churches. Cosmic ran into every one for a quick pray...

Figeac
Today we went to Figeac. It is a medieval walled town and they are very proud that Jean François Champollion, the man who deciphered the Rossetta Stone (and so worked out how to read Egyptian Hieroglyphics), came from there. And in the afternoon... WATERPARK!

The Enchanted Wood and the Faraway Tree.
A day in the house. In order to calm everyone down after I thrashed them all at tennis, Mum and Dad took us for a walk in the woods where Dad read us the Faraway tree. Titou came too.

La Tour de France èt Jazz au Souillac
Now, THIS is very, VERY cool. We saw Bradley Wiggins cycling in the Tour de France as it went through Souillac. First Brit to win in 76 years and I was there. Coincidence? I think not. I just wish Dad would stop calling him Wriggley Baggins (the cycling Hobbit) though...
Bradley:
And there was jazz...
And a disturbing attitude to geese...

La Marché Au Maurs
Maurs. Famous for its market.
I bought some carrots. See...
And I now know how to make walnut oil.

Gouffres de Padirac èt Grottes de Presque
Today was Mum's day to taking us down holes. We didn't know what to expect but Padirac was pretty cool, like a prehistoric scene. At Presque, we got there just as it was shutting and the lady stayed late to give us our own personal tour!
