Mum's birthday

It is Mum's birthday.

Mum, Dad, Cosmic and I went into town to have a bagel. Zill stayed with Grandma watching the Royal Wedding.

Mummy had marmite in her bagel. After that we bought Mum a dress to wear out in the evening with Dad as they were going to the theatre to see Frankenstein.

Mum and Dad bought us a toy. I chose a bionicle and Cosmic chose a PlayMobil meerkat set.

We did not watch any of the Royal wedding but someone recorded it on our TV. We do not know who. We think it was Alex but it might have been the TV itself because it likes to record the special things on its own. We also think our TV likes Royal weddings.

That was Mum's birthday.

The bells

We are celebrating the wedding of Prince William at school today and we all had to dress up as if we are going.

I have gone as the Doctor as the outfit is very smart and he went to Sarah Jane's wedding.

Cosmic has gone as the Chinese Ambassador.

Dog tired

Byron had an operation yesterday to take a lump off his leg, above his paw. He now has a big green bandage on and it has to be changed every 3 days. He is not allowed off the lead for 10 days!

When he came home Alex carried him from the car so his bandage would not get dirty.

He is very heavy. Byron, not Alex.

Alfie's birthday

Today we set off to Alfie's birthday party in London. He was 1.

Alfie is my youngest cousin. When we arrived we went downstairs to the living room and kitchen. There was lots of food and an amazing cake.

My cousin George was there too with his friends. Granny too.

Then Auntie Jules came into the room with Alfie and we played with him. We then went upstairs to play policemen and burglars. There were 2 burglars and 1 policeman and the policeman had to stop the burglars escaping.

Then we went downstairs again and Mum arrived. We played with the water pistol then ate cake and watched Alfie opening his presents. We gave him a ball and some toys.

Then we played water pistols again. We took it in turns to shoot the water pistol. It was very fun.

Then we came inside again and went home.

Zevon's Tuna Recipe

Zilly, Cosmic and I have been learning to cook this Easter with Mum and Dad.

I made 'Zevon's Tuna plate' with Dad which was tuna steak (rare), homemade salsa sauce and pesto mash.

The recipe is a secret.

Zilly made baked tilapia which was yummy.

Cosmic cooked stir-fry with quorn and vegetables which we ate with my friend Jack.

The bluebells

We went to see bluebells in Nymans' Gardens' Woods. The floor of the forest looked like a carpet of bluebells.

We took the dog and Cosmic wanted to paddle with him. Zilly claimed she was not part of our family because Cosmic got naked to get in to the water with Byron.

The mad Doctor returns

When we got home I watched the first episode of season 6 of Doctor Who.

There was an astronaut and it killed the Doctor. It was like the Empty Child from season 1 with the ninth Doctor.

It was very fun to watch and I am pleased to see Dr Who back on telly. But it wasn't as scary as last season (Dad disagrees).

We left the Clarksons early in the day and we went to Warwick Castle. We got there in the nick of time and were the first in!

Cosmic and I were the first to do knights training and Zillyan was the first to do archery. I could not do archery because my broken arm would not let me ('You can't do archery' said my broken arm).

I climbed 530 stairs to get to the top of two towers - overall I climbed 1060 stairs. I was very tired after.

Then we went into the dungeons. Cosmic did not come because he was too scared. The cells you were put in were very little.

We got to see sword fighting. It was very cool.

We saw inside the castle. We met George Greville who owned the castle in the eighteenth century and saw lots of rooms and pictures. We also saw Queen Elizabeth the first and Queen Victoria who asked me how I broke my arm. I said 'on the monkey bars' and she said 'What are they'. I explained to her they are like two trees and some bars. She was very impressed.

We also went into the Merlin Tower. We saw Gaius' lab and the dragon. The dragon said to Zillyan her destiny is to use her magic for evil. I think the dragon is right.

In the queue for Merlin's Tower we met Henry VIII. He tried to kill Daddy to marry Mum.

We saw tents with people in them from the olden days and we saw them playing a game called foxes and rabbits which was like chess.

In the mini shop they were selling real helmets and swords.

We saw the trebuchet being fired and we saw people pulling out the sword in the stone. When I tried to do this I got my foot stuck in it and everyone had to try and pull me out.

Clarkies

We went to the Clarksons who are our friends in Burton , where they make marmite.

I played a video game with Alex on his x-box and we pretended that Cosmic played too. We were robots trying to defeat everyone else.

Zillyan played with Kizzy.

Mum and Dad played with Chris and Lisa.

We had pasta for dinner and Alex showed me his Warhammer stuff.

Granny-nator

We went to Granny's birthday party on Good Friday.

We had a nice lunch at The Lighthouse Cafe in Wimbledon Village. I had squid and chocolate mouse. To drink I had some coke.

Patrick, Granny, Zillyan, Dad, Cosmic, Mummy and I were all there. We gave Granny some flowers, pickled walnuts and some champagne. I had a fantastic time.

After lunch we began our drive to the Clarksons ...

Saving my arm

Today I had to have an operation on my arm.

I do not know what happened because I had to be put to sleep. All I know is they had to put metal in my arm to hold the bones together. My arm was all out of shape.

Every day I have to practice moving my fingers. A good way to practice is playing my new 3DS which Dad bought me because he was the one there when I broke my arm. Mum did not talk to him for ages and Dad feels very guilty.

I went to Horsham Park with Dad, Zilly, Zara and Cosmic.

I went on the monkey bars to try and get on the top of them but I missed my jump. When I fell, my arm was trapped in between my bottom and the floor.

I was in agony.

Dad carried me to Horsham hospital and I went in an ambulance to Worthing Hospital. I got to have the blue lights and the siren on.

I broke 2 bones in my wrist and had to stay the night in hospital with Mum.

Mummy hated the whole time in hospital.

Chess mate?

Grandma and Kai took me to the chess competition because Mum, Dad, Zilly, Cosmic and Zara were all at the zoo. Mummy was being a zookeeper for the day.

I played 4 games. I won 2, drew 1 and lost 1. I drew the third one but I won a gold medal because I did very good sportsmanship.

On one of my games a boy's Dad told him what to move. Grandma said to the Dad 'You are itching to play this game aren't you?'and tried to start a fight. Kai followed the boy's Dad around the hall we were playing in trying to wind him up. My Dad came later and hid in the corner.

I'm back ...

I have not blogged for a long time but Mum has remembered my password.

This is very useful as I have broken my arm and will be able to keep a note of all the stuff I do on here. Writing is a bit tricky at the moment.

I will write and post some blogs now about what I have done in the Easter holidays. This is my homework. So is handwriting practice which I cannot do because my arm is in plaster. I am very sad about this as you can all guess.
