As if by magic ...

We woke up this morning and George was here.

He is not coming to school with Zill and I. He is staying with Cosmic.

Auntie Jules isn't very well - that is why he is here. It is really fun to have him about.

Get well soon AJ.

Blow those eggs

We blew eggs and painted them over the weekend. We took them into school yesterday and today they are going to be displayed.

Dad blew the eggs and we painted them. Mine had goggley eyes and Zillyan had a cotton wool chick coming out of hers.

This is how you blow eggs - Mum found this video on YouTube.

The Onion

Today Mum and I planted onions, shallots, garlic, carrots, spinach and broad beans on the allotment.

We also met the man from the end allotment. He is called Ian and we met his wife Anne too. He does his allotment with his brother and he has planted loads of stuff already.

Ian used his rotovator on Geoff's allotment. Geoff is the man whi gave half his allotment to us. He is old now and not very well. He finds his allotment very hard work.

We also put down some chicken poo and got wet in the rain.

We got home and had a bath then William cam over for a sleepover. We all watched Robin Hood then went to bed in my room.

French numberjacks on their way

Eliza told the class that we do Fench Club today. The teachers said wow and we stood at the front of the class ready to count to ten in French.

Then Cassie said she could count in French too and the three of us said all the numbers from un to dix.

All raqbbits then clapped us .... even Mrs Etherington and Mrs Harris.

Tooth Fairy ...

... came last night.

She took my bottom front tooth from under my ;pillow and left two pound coins wrapped up in tissue paper.

The tooth fell out while I was brushing my teeth - just like the first one.

Mum says there is already one grown behind the tooth that fell out but she can't be sure how big it is because i won't open my mouth properly.

Zal the Easter Bunny

Unlce Zal has just pretened to be the Easter Bunny.

We were very nice to him and Auntie Moo was his helper and gave out big chocolate eggs.

YUM!

Happy Navroz

We celebrated the new year today at Auntie moo's house. Grandma and Grandpa are in America but Uncle Zal and Laila came and we had a big lunch and opened presents.

Grandma and Grandpa gave me a really cool planet mobile and the other grownups gave me a light for my bed and a science book (so I will understand Dad's comment from my blog entry the other day!).

We also had a chocolate egg hunt in the garden.

Good work assembly

Zill and I both had our asseblys yesterday and Mum and Dad watched both.

Mine was in the morning. We sang London's burning but Mr Sexton did not turn up so we had to sing without any piano or musical help!

The teacher's then showed our Mums and Dads pictures of some of us working at school. They saw slides from when the police came to talk to us and when 2 dads came in -one is a fireman and Luka's Dad is a paramedic in London!

The parents also saw slides from Grandparents Day.

After my assembly Dad came into my classroom to read with me and some of my friends. I was really happy.

Electricity rules

Dad read us chapter 2 of George's Secret Key to the Universe by Stephen and Lucy Hawking tonight.

George met a scientist who lives next door to him. The scientist taught him a science thing .... if you rub a ruler in your hair then put it next to a slowly running tap the water falls diagnolly.

We tried it and its true. Dad says it is due to our hair being electric and something called static electricity.

This science trick is very very cool.

How clean is your school?

Park fun too

Dig the allotment

"Higher Mum slave"

Before I went to Edward's party we went to the park.

Zill went on her bike, Cosi went on his tricycle and I scooted.

Zill cycled into town with Dad to buy wellies while the rest of us fed the ducks and played in the park.

We were all wearing our new reflective jackets. This is Cos and I swinging - "higher Mum slave".

The Red Nose Gang

Bugsy

Recovering today after a very late night last night.

We all went to see Bugsy Malone. It was at Zara's school and Kai directed it with his old drama teacher.

We sat at a table and dressed up as people from 85 years ago! I wore Mum's black shirt and Dad's pale pink tie. The girls all had headbands and feather boas.

Whenver someone was shot they got squirted in shaving foam. Lots of people were shot and even we got covered in shaving foam.

It was fab.

Pets

I have to read every night. When I have read the person who listened to me - usually Mum and Dad - writes in my reading diary.

Then when I get to school I move myself up the reading ladder. When you get to the top you get a present then start again at the bottom.

I read a yellow sticker book tonight to Mum called Pets and Mum said I was "word perfect". This is very good.

Hre is the book:

Pets by Jennifer Beck

I had a frog. It jumped out of its bowl.

I had a mouse. It ran back in its hole.

I had a fish. It ate too much.

I had a rabbit. It got out of its hutch.

I had a parrot. It flw out the door.

I wanted a dog ...

but Mum said, "No more!"

Perhaps I rad so well because of what the story was about. I like animals.

Name that bunny in one - new poll

I've put up a new poll. It is about rabbit names because we have a rabbit.

We may get another rabit in a couple of months too because the rabbit welfare lady Mummy went to see says bunnies don't like being on their own.

I wonder what we would call another rabbit? I suppose it may come with a name already - like Anastasia.

Let's bowl let's bowl .. let's rock an' roll

It is Lara's birthday weekend with her Dad and Cat Cat and we all went bowling in Brighton it was really fun.

There were lots of us there - let me try and remember .... Teresa (Cat's Mum),Chris, Victoria, Tony, Poppy, Charlotte and her boyfriend, Rob (Rosses friend) and his daughters Lola and Piper, Lara, Cat, Alex and all of us.

Then we went for dinner at Frankie and Bennies - just like last year - and i had fish and chips. It is so cool - they sang happy birhday to Lara and played Conratulations - i love that song!

Character poll results

Here are the results for the poll i put up just after we went to Disneyland.

Which Disney character would you most like to cuddle?

Chip
- 3 (50%)

Dale - 0 (0%) - he was my favourite - i should have voted myself!

Pluto - 1 (16%)

Mickey Mouse - 0 (0%)

Minnie Mouse - 0 (0%)

Tigger - 1 (16%)

Other - 1 (16%)

Only 6 people voted ... boo hoo and why no votes for Dale? Do better next time folks.

Happy World Book Day

HAPPY WORLD BOOK DAY!

I went to school in my sith pyjamas today and my blue dressing gown.

I took Allie and two of my favourite books -

"Don't let the pigeon drive the bus" by Mo Willems (read his blog here)and "Mustard, Custard, Grumble Belly and Gravy" poems by Michael Rosen.

Zill took in "The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe" which I also really like.

My Uncle Zal

Oh wow - Uncle Zal is following me.

Hello Uncle Zal.

Welcome to my blog. Uncle Zal has a flickr page that is really cool.

I am going to be a cameraman like Uncle Zal when I am older.

Bed now as it is really late.

Words and books. Books and words.

Yesterday I was sent to Mr Goodall. I had to show him my writing. He gave me a sticker and I was very proud. I showed Mum and Dad the writing and the sticker when I got home.

Tomorrow is world book day and I have to go into school in my pyjamas. Mum looked for a new pair for me as she was in Oxford Street today. She didn't find any but she bought Zill and I home some mitens that are way to big for us. Think i will wear my Star Wars pair ... and perhaps the mittens as accessories.

I also have to take in my favourite book. I am still deciding what that is going to be ..... what would you guys take in?

Rabbit Rescue Rangers

Dad got home from work. He made us stop eating our tea and get on pyjamas and dressing downs. Then we all got in the car.

We drove to the pet shop and collected Anastasia the rabbit. Then we went to tesco to buy rope and Mtt's house to collect him.

We all went to another house and Matt and Dad planned to tie a large rabbit hutch onto the top of our car.

Before they could start trying the man who made the hutch offered to bring it to his house in his Wimbledon High School van.

Anastasia is now in the study in a dog crate filled with straw. It is too cold and dark for her to go to her hutch tonight.

Lots of people were involved in the Rabbit Rescue Rangers team .... so thank yous and medal are awarded to -

- Us for finding Anastasia
- Catherine Briffett for finding a hutch on freecycle
- CatCat for buying all Anastasia's food, bedding, toys and water bottle
- Matt for helpiong sort out how to get the hutch home
- Man with a van for the rabbit hutch and for brining it to our house.

Greater spotter tree

Nymans Gardens today with the Everingtons.

We walked through the woods which we have never done before. t was really good fun and really muddy. I got my wellie stuck in the mud and Mum had to pull it out.

Zill and I did a quiz looking for different types of leaves and flowers. I took loads of pictures like this one of an interesting tree.

On the way home we looked went to the pet shop to buy cat food. They have a section at the back for animals which have been dumped and need rehoming. We stroked a rabbit called Anastasia. Mum asked lots of questions .. mmmmmmm.
